Description
Sensors and actuators with an IO-Link interface (IO-Link devices) can communicate with this product. All IO-Link devices are equipped with an input-output device description file (IODD) which contains information regarding identification and device parameters, as well as process and diagnostics data. This file can be read in by the software at the IO-Link master, so that the sensor or actuator can be conveniently set up and operated. The tool is used to preconfigure, test and demonstrate IO-Link devices. The tool is not intended for continuous operation in production systems.
