The Parakeet Mini is designed based on the principle of Time Of Flight (TOF) and can conduct ranging up to 18,000 times per second. The ranging data is sent to the power supply and processing module through high-speed optical communication for calculation, and then the distance values and intensity information of the target object from the Lidar are output through the communication interface

APPLICATIONS USE CASES:
Security and Robotics
When this laser light shines on an obstacle, it will be reflected. The receiver detects the reflected light signal. The time difference between the reflected light and the emitted light is measured by the time analysis module. By multiplying the time by the speed of light, the flight distance of the light can be obtained, and thus the position information of the obstacle can be calculated.
